About a year ago I really started feeling disconnected.  The world was passing me by … I was stuck back in time, and it was no longer o.k. I needed to overcome this fear … the fear that is only there because we are naturally hesitant to try something new … or step out of our comfort zone.  That’s really what it boiled down to.  I was out of my comfort zone.  It was easier to stay disconnected and not be part of this wonderful world of technology that linked everyone together.  I finally decided to join in … see what was really out there.  One website at a time … one view into Facebook … and wow … I realized what I was missing!

It’s been one year now since I “googled” my first question … I was simply looking for a gift I couldn’t find locally to purchase for a friend … from that moment on I’ve never looked back.  This thing called “the computer”  has become a great friend … a tool to use to get me anything that my heart desires … and a window into a world that one year ago I didn’t even know existed.  I’m so glad that I ventured out of that comfort zone … is there something in your life that is frightening you?  Something as silly as this? If there is … work to conquer that fear … it will probably be the best thing you ever did, and open up a whole new world for you!
